The 23rd Annual Gift of Produce, which culminated on December 11, 2009 with a display and distribution event held at Northwest Mall, raised over 1.3 million pounds of produce for southeast Texas hunger-relief agencies! Thank you to everyone who participated. In particular, the Houston Food Bank would like to recognize the Team Captains who did an incredible job of securing the fresh produce from donors throughout the United States. An event like this would not be possible without your hard work and dedication!
