In 2008, the Houston Food Bank had more than 18,000 different volunteers who contributed more than 180,000 service hours.  Without their help we would have been unable to distribute 22,000,000 lbs of food to hurricane devasted areas and to our 400 partnering charities such as homeless shelters, church pantries and senior citizen centers.

We accept individuals, corporate/group volunteers and court-mandated community service volunteers.

Individual Volunteers

3. Come and volunteer.
