The Food Rx program provides participants with access to nutritious food to improve their overall health. Houston Food Bank partners with health organizations such as hospitals and systems to screen and refer patients to receive the Food Rx prescription. Neighbors can redeem their prescriptions at specific food pantries, called Food for Change Markets. Food RX supports neighbors in managing chronic conditions through nutritious foods.
