Easy Black Bean Chili
Ingredients
- 1/2 onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 3 Tbsps. olive oil
- 2 cups black beans
- 1 14.5 oz. can of tomato sauce – 2 tsps. cumin
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Sauté onions and garlic in oil until onions become soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add tomato sauce and black beans. Reduce the heat to medium low.
- Add spices and stir to combine well.
- Cover and allow to simmer for at least 20 minutes, stirring occasionally
