Salmon Burger
Ingredients
- 1 (14.75) can of salmon
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup red onion chopped small
- ½ cup red pepper chopped small
- ⅓ cup whole wheat bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp dry thyme
- ½ tsp dried rosemary
- ⅛ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Drain the salmon well and flake with a fork removing the bones (if desired).
- Put ingredients in a bowl and combine.
- Form the mixture into 5 patties each about the size of your palm or 3-4 oz.
- Pan fry over medium-high heat with a bit of non-stick cooking spray for about 3 minutes on each side.

*If you find the patties are not staying together well during cooking, an extra egg can be used.
