How Can You Help?
Volunteer with the Houston Food Bank
Volunteers are needed to inspect, sort and package donations. During times of crisis, volunteers are essential in Houston Food Bank’s efforts to distribute food and in supporting the community. Volunteer shifts are available seven days a week unless noted as closed. Children are welcomed to volunteer with a parent or adult. Remember to hydrate before and during the shifts. Water fountains and water stations can be found throughout Houston Food Bank. Please take a break to hydrate as often as needed.
Donate to the Disaster Relief Fund
From storms to the everyday emergency of hunger, Houston Food Bank is always ready to provide families in our community with the safety net needed. Your gift will help provide food, water, and other necessary supplies. Once disaster needs are met, any remaining funds will go towards helping provide food for people facing hunger across southeast Texas.
