Visit Trinity River CRC on Tuesday, January 21st, to receive free, nutritious foods at no cost. This may include fruits, vegetables, frozen protein or dried goods.
Houston Food Bank is eager to open the doors of our new Trinity River Community Resource Center soon
The Houston Food Bank has a decades-long history of serving Liberty, Trinity, San Jacinto, and Walker counties. The addition of the Trinity River Community Resource Center further strengthens our commitment to assist our neighbors and partners with long-term stability.
The Trinity River Community Resource Center will offer neighbors access to a free neighbor-choice market. The market will offer nutritious food, including a variety of fresh produce and shelf-stable items.
Trinity River CRC will offer extended hours. Knowing our neighbors may need assistance outside “regular” business hours, CRC operating hours will include evening and weekend options.
Trinity River CRC knows that hunger does not exist alone. We are committed to connecting people to resources.
The Community Assistance Program can help you apply for other programs like Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicare, Medicare Savings Program, Medicaid, Temporary Aid for Needy Families (TANF), Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and Texas Women’s Health Program.
Volunteers are instrumental to Trinity River Community Resource Center’s operations.
