28th Annual Design/Build Competition
Canstruction Houston produces a unique competition where Houston area architects, engineers and construction firms, and students build creative and ingenious structures using canned food and other non-perishable food items. All items are donated to the Houston Food Bank to help provide food for better lives.
🥫 Canstruction LOAD-IN – 20 volunteers needed: Volunteer experience consists of moving pallets of canned goods from the truck/dock at Geroge R. Brown, to the build areas for each of the 18 structures.
Canstruction – LOAD-IN – November 16th (6am – 10am)
🥫 Exhibition Days: November 17-23
🥫 DECAN – 100 volunteers needed: Volunteer experience consists of disassembling the structures build with canned food (and other nonperishable food items); boxing the food; and transporting the food from build areas to the truck for loading.
DECAN – George R. Brown – November 24th (6am – 10am)
