Easy Black Bean Chili

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 Tbsps. olive oil
  • 2 cups black beans
  • 1 14.5 oz. can of tomato sauce – 2 tsps. cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Sauté onions and garlic in oil until onions become soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Add tomato sauce and black beans. Reduce the heat to medium low.
  • Add spices and stir to combine well.
  • Cover and allow to simmer for at least 20 minutes, stirring occasionally
